Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking an experienced SR Instructional Designer for our client based out of Atlanta, GA. This is a global, mission-driven organization is seeking a contractor to lead the redesign and development of a flagship leadership development program for senior executives across an international network. This role will act as an embedded partner within a global Talent Management team, collaborating with talent leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders across multiple regions. This position requires a strong mix of instructional design expertise, learning experience design, and project management, along with the ability to translate leadership concepts into engaging, practical learning experiences that drive measurable behavior change. The ideal candidate has experience designing leadership programs for executive audiences and thrives in highly collaborative, fast-evolving environments where priorities and design decisions develop iteratively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior talent leaders to design a cohort-based leadership journey for executive and senior leadership audiences.
- Translate leadership capabilities and behaviors into measurable learning objectives and experiences.
- Design blended learning solutions incorporating virtual sessions, self-paced learning, peer collaboration, reflection, and an in-person capstone experience.
- Develop session designs, facilitator guides, participant materials, and supporting resources.
- Incorporate real-world application, action learning, and reflection to support sustained behavior change.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
- Design engaging learning experiences across multiple modalities and digital platforms.
- Ensure learning solutions are culturally relevant, accessible, and adaptable across global audiences.
- Recommend and develop a mix of custom content, curated resources, and digital learning assets.
- Partner with subject matter experts to simplify complex concepts into learner-centered experiences.
- Develop asynchronous and digital learning components as needed.
- Manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools.
- Facilitate design sessions, working groups, and stakeholder feedback discussions.
- Collaborate across globally distributed teams while navigating evolving priorities.
- Track project progress and communicate risks, updates, and recommendations.
- Support the development of evaluation strategies aligned to program outcomes.
- Gather and synthesize feedback to refine program design.
- Recommend approaches to measure learning effectiveness, behavior change, and program impact.
- Contribute innovative ideas and external best practices in leadership development.
- Act as a strategic partner while also executing on design and development deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of instructional design and learning experience design
- Proven experience designing leadership development programs for senior and executive audiences
- Expertise in blended learning design (virtual, in-person, and self-directed)
- Strong content development skills, including facilitator guides, participant materials, and digital assets
- Experience designing for global, multicultural audiences
- Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and behavior change frameworks
- Strong ability to translate strategy into practical, engaging learning experiences
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage evolving priorities
- Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience collaborating across cultures, functions, and seniority levels
- Comfort working in complex, global, matrixed organizations
- Familiarity with leadership development, talent development, or executive education
